Snow
about 8 inches of thick heavy snow overnight, perfect for snowballs, the kind of snow we used to get in CT, and pound the piss out of cars with, when I was a kid. Three or four guys, each armed with a couple of snowballs. An occasional chase, by an irate driver, only added to the whole experiance.

blasted after yesterdays 2 hour ride in the snow, rode the rollers for first time this year, first time on rollers with fixed gear - that’s a trip, usually I can do rollers no hands, have the music blasting and play a drum set at the same time. not so confident with the fixed, pedaling backwards is disastrous! wiping my brow or blowing my nose takes utmost concentration, good to sweat.

got the mnt bike fixed up, new shifters, put more spikes (screws) in my tires.
two hours riding, 14 degrees, numerous falls, stumbling around, spikes don’t do much good in soft snow, too much walking, home on a 2 mile, fast downhill, in the dark, on ice covered roads, without my glasses and no light.
I am blasted.
